Adaptive Furniture System

This concept explores innovative solutions for the future of interior design. The idea is to create a modular furniture and storage system that seamlessly adapts to any spatial dimensions. Positioned at the intersection of architecture and furniture, it serves as a dynamic spatial framework.

Using a simple yet effective connection system—flexible aluminum and rubber elements that secure wooden poles through friction—the structure can be assembled without the need for tools. This allows for quick and effortless setup, encouraging experimentation and a fresh perspective on space, furniture, and architecture.

This project was realized during the Winter semester 2015/2016 as part of the course „Knockdown“ supervised by Max Mustermann and Max Mustermann.
