A shelving system that holds by gravity

LOGLOG is a modular shelving system for opening up unused interior space – especially just below the ceiling. Thanks to simple plug-in connections, it enables efficient vertical space utilisation.

Challenge

The aim was to develop a piece of furniture, that is flexible, easy to assemble and customis- able to individual requirements. The system should be adaptable to a wide variety of room situations without the need for complex construction – reduced in the use of materials, but versatile in its application.

Solution

LOGLOG is a modular shelving system made of solid beech wood – a stable, sustainable material. The support rails are screwed together, all other elements are plugged in. Thanks to the flexible grid system, the shelving can be adapted to different room sizes and requirements. The minimalist design combines a handcrafted look with functional clarity – stable, reversible and also ideal for temporary use.

This project represents an innovative approach to the development of storage space. The modular design relies on mechanical plug-in connections, allowing for quick and tool-minimal assembly. Its flexible structure adapts seamlessly to various room heights, widths, and individual requirements. The system is designed to be safe, stable, and reversible, making it particularly suitable for temporary or changing environments. It functions both as a piece of furniture and a spatial system, combining functionality, simplicity, and physical logic into a coherent overall concept.
